Mike Barni

A lifelong Cleveland native, Mike Barni has led the Human Resources function for a variety of local employers - both large and small.  Aside from manufacturing, his experience includes retail, public, and service organizations.  Mike's passion is assisting others moving to their next endeavor by tweaking their resume to generate interest and tell an effective story in addition to preparing/practicing for that next interview.  Mike received his MBA from Cleveland State University and is a graduate of Saint Ignatius High School.  Connect with Mike on LinkedIn and join him in the NCJS LinkedIn Group.

Gina Betti

Lloyd Buckwell

Lloyd is a skilled Human Resource Executive, with four decades of experience in Manufacturing, Health Care, Restaurant and Insurance Industries.  Lloyd’s background in employee recruitment, retention, business strategic planning, change management, succession planning, within union / non-union domestic and international settings has provided him experience in all types of business setting. Additionally, he has worked closely with the executive leadership team and the Board of Directors on the development and implementation of human resources and business strategies. Doug Cantlay

Michael D'Amico

Paul DiPronio

Jim Folger

Jean Gagné

Emily Smayda Kelly

Emily Smayda Kelly, Esq. guides both individuals and companies through transitions with her legal consulting company, Kel-Lume Group.  She has taken twenty years of being a labor and employment attorney experience in public (Jane Campbell Administration), private (Union Representation), corporate (Tradesmen International), and nonprofit (GC of Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio), settings on both sides of the table and now focuses on making a difference.  She helps individuals navigate through their employment challenges, including non-compete, severance packages, unemployment and coaches them through to their next opportunity be it traditional employment, business owner, or independent contractor.

Nancy Miko

Ms. Miko spent 30 years in Human Resources and recruitment in both corporate and non-profit organizations.

 

She spent the last ten years prior to retirement as the Clinical Recruiter for Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT. Ms. Miko is the past president of the CT Healthcare Recruiters Association as well as a member of the National Association of Healthcare Recruiters.  She received a BA in International Relations from Good Counsel College in NY and studied for a Masters in East Asian History and Political Science at Purdue University in IN. Additionally, Nancy received a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Fairfield University in CT. Suzanne Nebe

Building a career in public, private, as well as professional services organizations, Suzanne is a talent professional helping organizations achieve their goals related to talent acquisition & staffing, diversity & inclusion, and associate & community engagement.   Supporting companies in steady-state as well as during times of transformation, Suzanne has a knowledge base in HR, business acumen, and an innate ability to connect with people which helps her align hiring strategy to an organizational strategic plan.

Jeff Peterson-Davis

Jeff has been with NCJS since its beginnings and is behind our website, email communications, registrations, etc.  His website and graphic design company, KairosStudio, specializes in affordable solutions for small businesses and nonprofit organizations, and allows him to volunteer his skills and services for NCJS.  Jeff's professional career was in pastoral ministry and nonprofit management, but he is now retired with medical disability.  Jeff is married and has a daughter in college.  He's passionate about wine (his doctoral dissertation used wine as a lens for theological reflection!), gourmet cooking, good coffee, and cherishing every day as a gift.  Connect with Jeff on LinkedIn and join him in the NCJS LinkedIn Group.

Greg Reynolds
